As some of you may have noticed I have not said anything about country music which is odd since I am currently in Arizona. This is because I have a very limited knowledge of it not because I dislike it. Now the OLD stuff, you know, the “my dog ran away, my truck died and my girl cheated” stuff was a little hard to take but now I guess I am showing my age. Now I must admit that I had friends that I listened to Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan with back in the 60’s but I was more into Led Zeppelin, Cream, The Beatles, Stones and the original Black Sabbath. Living in So Cal we got to see some bands before they recorded or became huge. I remember seeing Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers on a sound stage at an old movie lot six or eight months before the release of their first album.
